Armenians arrested in Moscow over counterfeiting money

Five Armenians and one Dagestani man have been arrested in Moscow on
suspicion of counterfeiting money.

Lenta.ru reports that the band, together with its alleged boss, has
been detained under a court ruling.

The band is suspected of counterfeiting 1,000 and 5,000 rouble banknotes.

The scheme organizer is said to be a Russia-based ethnic Armenian
residing in the near Moscow area. The investigators believe he has
been counterfeiting money since 2010.
