MORE GOVERNORS EXPECTED TO RESIGN IN ARMENIA

The replacement of Ararat Governor Edik Barseghyan will be followed by
the resignations of Aragatsotn, Armavir and Kotayk Governors – Sargis
Sahakyan, Ashot Kagramanyan and Kovalenko Shahgeldyan respectively.

The last-named, however, refuted the reports on his resignation.

Asked about his possible resignation, Aragatsotn Governor Sargis
Sahakyan told Tert.am to send the question in a written form.

As regards the candidate for the post of Ararat governor, the rumor
has it that the ex-minister of agriculture Aramais Grigoryan (the
Armenian Revolutionary Federation Dashnaktsutyun – ARF-D) is likely
to the be appointed to the post.
