SPEAKER ABRAHAMYAN IS IN DIFFICULT SITUATION

Speaker Hovik Abrahamyan rushed to remove Zaruhi Postanjyan from the
Armenian delegation to the PACE and even make a relevant statement.

Judging by the speed of what is going on, Hovik Abrahamyan did not
take a sleep last night.

The speaker’s rush is interesting in the light of recent press
reports on Republican member of the delegation to the PACE Arpine
Hovhannisyan’s decision to cede the right to ask questions to Zaruhi
Postanjyan. Arpine Hovhannisyan is the same lady Abrahamyan had asked
the ARF to treat with respect. Before being a member of parliament
Arpine was a member of Abrahamyan’s staff which allowed the press to
suggest that Hovhannisyan is one of Abrahamyan’s reliable people.

Perhaps therefore Abrahamyan hurried to remove Postanjyan from the
delegation. Apparently he punished Zaruhi to make sure that Serzh
Sargsyan does not suspect him of another treachery and repeat the
question of the press why Arpine ceded her right to inquiry to Zaruhi
Postanjyan. In addition, Postanjyan had stated a few days earlier
that she was going to ask Serzh Sargsyan a question but she refused
to tell what the question would be about.

As is known, Zaruhi Postanjyan asked Serzh Sargsyan to confirm whether
he has lost 70 million euro in casinos. Postanjyan referred to press
reports and asked Serzh Sargsyan to clarify. The press reported that
Sargsyan lost 70 million euro during his summer holiday.

Bu the way, he took Abrahamyan along with him.
