SERVICEMEN’S HOUSING ISSUES UNDER GOVERNMENT SPOTLIGHT – DEFENSE MINISTRY

The Ministry of Defense says the housing problems of Armenian
serviceman are under the government’s permanent spotlight.

Several apartment blocks were handed over for operation over the past
years. The families of nine servicemen received Wednesday apartments in
a new residential building in the village Khachik (Vayots Dzor region)
following a solemn ceremony attended by Minister Seyran Ohanyan.

The minister handed keys and ownership certificates to the families,
congratulating them on getting houses, reports the Ministry’s press
service.

Touring the apartments after the ceremony, Ohanyan said later the
conditions in the new apartment block are fully in line with modern
development standards.
