NAREKATSI MANUSCRIPT PUT UP FOR AUCTION ON EBAY TO BE PRESENTED TO MATENADARAN

YEREVAN, AUGUST 30, ARMENPRESS. The manuscript of St. Gregory of
Narek’s “The Book of Lamentations” put up for the auction on eBay from
the city of Valencia of the State of California, United States has
been bought and will be presented to the Mashtots Institute of Ancient
Manuscripts (Matenadaran) in 10-15 days. The Director of Mashtots
Institute of Ancient Manuscripts (Matenadaran) Hrachya Tamrazyan
stated this in a conversation with “Armenpress”. “Russia-resident
Arthur Janibekyan has bought the manuscript and assured that it will
be presented to Mashtots Institute of Ancient Manuscripts (Matenadaran)
in 10-15 days,” Hrachya Tamrazyan stated.

The manuscript of St. Gregory of Narek’s “The Book of Lamentations”
put up for the auction on eBay from the city of Valencia of the State
of California, United States was valued USD 30 thousand. Arthur
Janibekyan is one of the founders of “Comedy Club Production” in
Russia and the general producer of the show.
