Gala TV Interview: Spokesman For Azerbaijani MoD Unaware of Place of
Armenian Hostage?

Gala TV contacted the Azerbaijani ministry of defense expecting to
learn something about the Armenian soldier captured by Azerbaijanis
about 10 days ago.

The MoD representative could not answer Gala TV’s reporter’s questions
in English so they had to shift to Russian. The representative told
them to call half an hour later.

Half an hour later Gala TV talked to the spokesman for the MoD Eldar
Sabiroghlu. His answers were not coherent.

We asked the spokesman how the Armenian hostage is feeling. Sabiroghlu
said `quite normal’.

In answer to the question where Hakob Injighulyan now is, the
spokesman said, `I cannot tell, I don’t know.’
