IMPORTS OF CHOCOLATE AND OTHER CACAO PRODUCTS IN THE FIRST HALF N INCREASE 9.1 PERCENT
YEREVAN, August 13. / ARKA /. Armenia’s State Revenue Committee said
imports of chocolate and other cacao products in the first half of
2013 amounted to $16.17 million, an increase of 9.1 percent from the
year before.
Overall, chocolate and cacao products imports made 3,400 tons, up from
3,200 tons in the first half of 2012. Armenia exported $530,400 worth
chocolate in the first six months of this year (a growth of 28.9%).
According to the Customs Service, imports of coffee in the first six
months of the year rose to 5, 560 tons worth $13.9 million (up 8.4%),
while exports amounted to 515.7 tons worth $2 million (a decline of
