GRAND MUFTI: SYRIA’S ENEMIES WERE DEFEATED BY SYRIANS’ AWARENESS

Damascus, (SANA)- Grand Mufti of the Republic, Dr. Ahmad Badreddin
Hassoun, stressed that the enemies of Syria have been defeated by
the awareness and sacrifices of the Syrians.

During a lecture titled “Energy’s Role in Peacemaking”, Mufti Hassoun
pointed out that Syria’s treasures and capacities are today targeted,
adding that the multi-faceted energy and the petroleum energy are
the lowest value when a nation does not have an awakened spirit and
cannot make use of its people’s capacities.

He called on the Syrians to stand against the conspiracies hatched
against the homeland.
