WORN GOWN WAS HANDED TO RUSSIAN AMBASSADOR

ARF Nikol Aghbalyan Student Union and ARF Armenian Youth Union handed
a worn gown to the Russian ambassador to Armenia as a sign of protest.

Earlier they had stated their condolences to the family of the victims
of the tragic accident in Russia. At the same time, they condemn the
treatment of the driver of the truck who caused the accident, was
arrested and tried, reminding that Hrach Harutiunyan is a veteran of
war in Karabakh and lost his son during his military service last year.

As Armenian young people and students, we cannot allow such disrespect
and cynicism towards the citizens of our country. “We will hand a
worn gown to the ambassador as a reminder that centennial “friendship”
is not eternal, and “democratic” Russia’s behavior is not justified.”
