PETITION LAUNCHED CALLING FOR DEFROCKING OF ARCHBISHOP KJOYAN

Starting tomorrow, activists will be collecting signatures calling
on Catholicos Garegin II to defrock Archbishop Navasard Kjoyan,
Vicar General of the Araratian Pontifical Diocese.

Those wishing to sign the petition can go to the intersection of
Northern Avenue and Toumanyan Streets between 10am and 9pm daily.

The signature drive is being launched by Hovhannes Ghahramanyan,
President of the “We are the future masters of our country” civic
initiative.

Archbishop Kjoyan has recently been linked to a off-shore company
and a wider financial scandal.
