Gallup International Association representatives have recently stated
that the Armenian population considers integration with Russia as
a priority for the country rather than with the EU. More than 50%
of those who had been questioned support closer integration with the
Russian Federation. 43% expect further investments from Russia.
Similarly, 70% of the respondents expect military support from
Russia; 90% consider that the highest risk for the country comes from
Azerbaijan and Turkey; 61% support the idea of entering the Customs
Union with other former Soviet Republics headed by Russia.
