ARMENIAN FORCES DETAIN THREE FOR SPYING FOR AZERBAIJAN

Yerevan, 25 June: [The Armenian] National Security Service reported
today that a military servicewoman of a military unit of the Armenian
Defence Ministry, resident of the town of Kapan, 31-year-old Mane
Movsisyan was arrested.

“The Armenian National Security Service obtained undeniable facts
which evidence that from January 2012 till the [start of her] military
service, Mane Movsisyan got acquainted with people having the profiles
of Dr Seryan Dervisyan and Tigran Dervisyan on Odnoklassniki and
Facebook social networks who worked for Azerbaijani special services
in the territory of Turkey and their correspondence continued after
Mane Movsisyan started serving in the Defense Ministry of Armenia.

“According to the data, Mane Movsisyan gave away information of
military character and of state and professional secrecy to the
Azerbaijani special services during her military service.

“Two more people were arrested by the NKR [Azerbaijan’s breakaway
Nagornyy Karabakh republic] national security service in connection
to a similar crime and one of them is a military serviceman of NK
defence army. The latter were also recruited by the same person
working in the Azerbaijan special services from the same profiles. A
court trial against them is currently initiated in the NK court,”
the statement of the Armenian National Security Service reads.
