JOURNALISTS RECOGNIZE MKHITARYAN AS BEST FOOTBALLER OF UKRAINIAN LEAGUE

As a result of a survey, Armenian national football team and Ukraine’s
FC Shakhtar Donetsk midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan is recognized as
the best player of the 2012/2013 season of the Ukrainian Premier
League. A total of 103 media and television journalists took part in
the aforesaid survey which the Sport Arena newspaper of Ukraine had
conducted.As a result, 62 journalists voted in favor of the 24-year-old
Armenian international. As NEWS.am Sport informed earlier, by scoring
25 goals, Henrikh Mkhitaryan became the top scorer of the 2012/2013
season of the Ukrainian Premier League. In addition, the Armenian
international also set a new record for the number of goals scored
in one season in the league.
