HAYKAKAN ZHAMANAK: SAMVEL ALEXANYAN’S NEPHEW TO BECOME HEAD OF MALATIA-SEBASTIA DISTRICT

Haykakan Zhamanak reported earlier that head of Yerevan’s
Malatia-Sebastia district David Ohanyan will become deputy mayor
of Yerevan.

The paper’s sources say that the nephew of MP Samvel Alexanyan will
be appointed head of Malatia-Sebastia community. Ohanyan refuted
the report the day after its publication. Indeed, Samvel Alexanyan’s
nephew, Artak Alexanyan, attended a recent meeting of Malatia-Sebastia
administration.

The district administration is well aware that Artak Alexanyan will
be their chief.

“The 25-year-old Artak is the son of Samvel Alexanyan’s brother who
committed suicide several years ago,” the paper writes.
