ARMENIAN PROVOCATION
The Armenian Diaspora continue to incite provocation over historical
developments.
A group of Armenians living in Switzerland are aspiring to erect in
Ariana Part in Geneva, which also houses the Geneva headquarters of
the UN, a monument in memory of their allegations of 1915.
The municipal assembly of Geneva have also made some statements
conducive to the setting up of such a monument in the park.
The monument Armenians are aspiring to put up is known to have been
the work of Melik Ohanyan, a sculptor of Armenian origin living in
Paris.
Known for its impartiality , Geneva having given the nod for a move of
this kind in favour of Armenians have met with the reaction and
concern of the Turks living there.
A natural park in Geneva, Ariana Park, home to monuments reflecting
the common values of mankind, is visited every year by about 100
thousand people.
