The Armenian community of Maastricht, commemorated on the 4th May the
Dutch victims of WW II. Every year, a wreath is laid by members of the
Foundation ”Armeense Stichting Ani.

Ani hopes that all Armenian communities around the world pay homage to
the victims of the country where they live. After all, how can we
expect understanding and compassion for our pain if we self show no
compassion. In preparation for the 100th year of the Armenian genocide
we need to join forces with the native communities.
