GOVERNMENT FAILS TO GIVE PRECISE ANSWERS TO INQUIRY ON NAIRIT RUBBER PLANT – OPPOSITION

YEREVAN. – The government failed to answer properly to the second
inquiry regarding Nairit rubber plant which was sent by the MPs,
ARF member said.

MP from ARF Dashnaktsutyun raised the problem of Nairit during the
Tuesday session of the parliament. Artsvik Minasyan said the inquiry
contained 5 questions referring to privatization of the factory,
misappropriation of huge credit resources, as well as those concerning
renovation and development programs of the factory.

Minasyan underscored importance of setting up a joint committee on
Nairit with the involvement of civilians.

Earlier this week more than a thousand employees of Nairit Rubber
Factory held a protest march toward the Government building demanding
the payment of their salaries for ten months.
