Interactive Presentation Of Multimedia Disc About Armenian Genocide

INTERACTIVE PRESENTATION OF MULTIMEDIA DISC ABOUT ARMENIAN GENOCIDE TO BE HELD IN CAFESJIAN CENTER FOR ARTS

YEREVAN, April 17. /ARKA/. Interactive presentations of “Armenian
Genocide 1915 -1923” and “Komitas – Life and Creative Work” multimedia
discs will be held on Thursday in Cafesjian Center for the Arts.

The disc contains 500 photos, files and testimonies of witnesses.

“Komitas – Life and Creative Work” disc dedicated to the great Armenian
composer will be presented as well.

His letters, music, rare archival documents, contemporaries’ memories,
more than 450 photos, 100 videos and 550 musical performances are here.

Armenian genocide was the first genocide committed in XX century.

Turkey rejects the accusation of massacres and the killing of one
and a half million Armenians during World War I.

The fact of the Armenian genocide is recognized by many countries,
particularly by Uruguay, Russia, France, Lithuania, most of the U.S.

states, as well as by the parliaments of Greece, Cyprus, Argentina,
Belgium, Wales, National Council of Switzerland, Common House of
Canada, the Seym of Poland and lower house of Italian parliament.

Vatican, the European Parliament and the World Council of Churches
have recognized the fact of the Armenian Genocide as well. —0—
