Republican MP on PAP’s benevolent activity

Republican party MP Karen Avagyan referred in his Facebook post to the
suspension of healthcare programs and distribution of glasses by
Prosperous Armenia party which `for years it was presenting as a
charity action’.

`I was thinking the reason is the decision not to participate in
presidential elections. There was no need to gather votes.
Nevertheless, I was waiting that the PAP would resume the kind
tradition but today as well this very important social issue was left
for oblivion. There was a time when the PAP, heading the healthcare
sphere, was privatizing state means and programs presenting it as
great charity for people. If you really think about people why have
you stopped the program after quitting as healthcare minister? There
is no need to do charity on the account of the state,’ he wrote.
