Armenia supports deeper integration processes in post-Soviet space

YEREVAN April 12

– Armenia has always been interested in deepening integration
processes in the post-Soviet space, Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan
said on Thursday as he received Viktor Khristenko, chairman of the
board of the Eurasian Economic Commission.

Khristenko said after ending talks in Yerevan on Thursday that a
memorandum on interaction between the Eurasian Economic Commission and
the Armenian government signed on Wednesday had laid down the
foundation for a systemic and systematic dialogue between executive
power bodies in spheres within their competence such as trade issues,
regulation of reciprocal trade, technological, sanitary and
phyto-sanitary regulation.

Emil Lazarian: “I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
