HERITAGE EXPECTS ACTIVE STEPS FROM SERZH SARGSYAN RATHER THAN FROM PARLIAMENT, ARMEN MARTIROSYAN SAYS

Heritage deputy chairman Armen Martirosyan says it is not realistic
to expect concrete steps from parliament.

“It will be realistic that Serzh Sargsyan accepts this compromise
offer, rather than the parliament does,” Martirosyan announced at
Liberty Square, in response to a journalist’s remark that several
parliamentary forces opposed the holding of an urgent session.

Martirosyan noted that their proposals are not beneficial to the
power representatives in parliament, and “they understand it.”

On March 25, RPA parliamentary faction conveyed a proposal to ANC
parliamentary faction to hold an urgent session of parliament to
adopt a statement on the current situation.
