NUMBER OF IRANIAN TOURISTS TO ARMENIA DECLINES BY 43%

The number of Iranian tourists to Armenia has declined by 43%,
according to Ayub Najari, Head of the Transport Department of Eastern
Atrpatakan province in Iran , IRNA news agency reported.

Najari said 7,151 people crossed the Iranian-Armenian border on March
15-24, which is a 43% decline as compared with the same period of
last year.

34, 723 people crossed the Iranian-Azerbaijani border in the indicated
period. Only 1,300 of them were Iranian citizens.
