GARNI GEOPHYSICAL OBSERVATORY TO REOPEN AND GET EQUIPPED

Secretary of the National Security Council Artur Baghdasaryan and the
Minister of Emergency Situations Armen Yeritsyan visited the unique
research center of Garni.

Artur Baghdasryan said that re-operation of Garni Geophysical
Observatory has strategic importance for Armenia since it is the second
best in the world, which enables predicting earthquakes within a range
of 12,000 km 18 hours in advance. He added that financial resources
will be invested to modernize and equip the observatory.
