YEREVAN, MARCH 20, ARMENRPESS. The Government of the Russian Federation
approved the program of the agreement on military technical cooperation
with Armenia and ordered the Federal Military Technical Service to
launch negotiations with Armenia for signing the document.

As reports “Armenpress” citing “Ria-Novosti”, the program stipulates
the order of providing military production.

Among other things the agreement provides transfer of production
without issuing licenses. In accordance with the abovementioned
agreement Armenia and Russia will be obliged to protect the
intellectual property rights of each other.

A number of issues regarding the bilateral military technical
cooperation have been touched upon during the March 12 meeting of the
President of the Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan and the President
of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, which was held within the
framework of the Armenian President’s official visit.

Emil Lazarian: “I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
