ZIYAFAT ASGAROV: “IT IS OUR RIGHT TO KNOW WHY YEREVAN-VAN FLIGHT IS LAUNCHED”

Baku. Anakhanim Hidayatova – APA. “Turkey and Azerbaijan are not
only friendly and fraternal countries, but also strategic partners,”
first vice-speaker of the Azerbaijani parliament Ziyafat Asgarov said
while commenting on the reports that Yerean-Van-Yerevan direct flight
will be launched on April 3, APA reports.

“This issue needs to be studied. But it should be taken into account
that Turkey directly supports Azerbaijan’s just position, it has
not opened borders with Armenia. Turkey is not going to open the
borders with Armenia. As far as I know, this flight will be operated
by a private company. But anyway it is our right to know why it is
launched. I think it will be clarified,” he said.
