ANCA SPREADS VIDEO CLIP EXPOSING AZERI MP’S SPEECH IN CALIFORNIA

YEREVAN, MARCH 13, ARMENPRESS. The Armenian National Committee
of America spread a video clip exposing Azeri MP’s speech in the
California State Senate. The video clip entitled “Americans to Aliyev:
Violence is Not a U.S. Value” is dedicated to Azerbaijan, which
seemingly shares common values with the USA. The material introduces
samples of the brutal attitude of the authorities towards the citizens
in Baku and elsewhere. As reports “Armenpress” the video clip laid
a heavy emphasis on the fact that “violence is not a U.S. value”.

Among other things Seyidov made an unacceptable mistake, which reveals
the true face of his country. He stated that Azerbaijan is fighting
against democracy. He said: “Azerbaijan is far away from the United
States, but also we are very close to each other as we both share the
same values – tolerance, secularism, fighting against fundamentalism,
democracy…”

The American-Armenians from California organized manifestation against
the official visit of the Azerbaijani parliamentary delegation and
state petroleum company (SOCAR) to the California State Senate. The
protestors demanded to stop the anti-Armenian aggression. Bay Area
State Senator Leland Yee reportedly walked off the Senate floor in
protest, when a brief ceremony was held in honor of the visiting
Azerbaijani delegation. The official introductions on the CA Senate
floor were done by CA State Senator Bob Huff, who spoke of his recent
visit to Baku. Later in the evening, several CA State Senators hosted
a dinner with their Azerbaijani guests and high-priced Azerbaijani
government lobbyists at the Sutter Club.
