Armenian DM meets EU Special Representative

Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan received the delegation
headed by Philippe Lefort, EU Special Representative for the South
Caucasus and the Crisis in Georgia.

During the meeting the parties discussed issues related to regional
security and Armenia-EU relations. They welcomed the role of the
European Union in the establishment of trust in the South Caucasus and
stable regional development.

The Armenian Defense Minister and the EU envoy agreed on the
expediency of cooperation between Armenia and the European Union in
the field of defense.
