ARMENIAN CHESS MASTER BECOMES CHAMPION OF BRAZIL

Armenian Grandmaster Krikor Sevag Mekhitarian is declared the champion
of Brazil.

In the 79th Brazilian Chess Championship which wrapped up, Mekhitarian
tallied a total of 8.5 points, from a possible 11 points, and alone
captured first place, leaving his next two challengers half points
behind.
