Protest at U.S. Embassy in Armenia: Obama Shouldn’t Have Congratulated Sargsyan

Demonstrators staged a protest today outside the U.S. Embassy in
Yerevan to voice their opposition to President Barack Obamas’s recent
congratulatory message to Serzh Sargsyan regarding his re-election.

The demonstrators argued that the United States, as a democratic
country, had no right to certify Sargsyan as the winner given that the
February 18 presidential election in Armenia was fraudulent.
