European Court says has not received application on Ramil Safarov – EXCLUSIVE

Baku. Victoria Dementieva – APA. So far the European Court of Human
Rights has not received an application on Ramil Safarov, ECHR Press
Unit told APA.

According to Armenian media, the ECHR was asked to consider the case
on violation took place by Azerbaijan and Hungary on the extradition
of Azerbaijani citizen Ramil Safarov sentenced to life imprisonment by
the order of the Budapest city Court on April 13, 2006 for killing
Armenian officer Gurgen Markaryan. On August 31, 2012 R. Safarov was
extradited to Baku and pardoned by president of Azerbaijan.
