Ilgar Rahimov, an Azerbaijani deputy minister of labor and social
protection, has a mother of Armenian descent, the Azerbaijani media
report, citing a parliament member.

“The mother of Ilgar Rahomov was a representative of another nation
[the report suggests he meant Armenian origins]. Even her funerals
were held in accordance with Christian, rather than Muslim tranditons.

I agree with Tagi Mamedov (head of the Baku underground railway
administration) that strategically important positions must be
entrusted to pure-blooded Azerbaijanis,” Haqqin.az quotes Fazail
Ragamali as saying in an interview to Musavat.com
