HOVANNISIAN ON OSCE PA REPORT

When asked to comment about the OSCE PA report, the leader of Heritage
Party Raffi Hovannisian said during a press conference held in Liberty
Square that the Armenian people don’t need such shows and displays.

“Let the observers write what they want to write, they know the
reality. Besides, a final conclusion has not yet been submitted,”
Hovannisian noted.

According to him, the PACE Parliamentary Assembly observers spoke
about two things – the uncompetitive election and the ink. “They are
free to write whatever they want. One thing is obvious: the people
have won. Let them go back to Strasbourg where they work and write,
but the people gave their answer in Yerevan, Gyumri, and in provinces
of the republic,” Raffi Hovannisian stated.

He said it is not up to observers to decide what kind of election we
should hold and what kind of state the Armenians should have. “It is
our choice and we made it yesterday,” Raffi Hovannisian said.
