Representative Of Azerbaijan’S Ruling Party: We Do Not Accept Armeni

REPRESENTATIVE OF AZERBAIJAN’S RULING PARTY: WE DO NOT ACCEPT ARMENIANS IN OUR PARTY

Deputy Executive Secretary of the ruling party “Yeni Azerbaijan” Party
(YAP) Siyavush Novruzov issued another racist statement addressed to
the Armenians. Novruzov gave a negative response to the question of
the information site Moderator.az about the presence of Armenians
in the ranks of the ruling New Azerbaijan Party, which contains
600,000 members.

“We have no statistics about other nationalities. There are Russians,
Talyshs, Avars and representatives of other nations among them. But
we do not accept Armenians among the ranks of our party. There were
presented such application in the district and city branches of the
party, but they were refused. Today, there are no Armenians among
YAP members,” stated Siyavush Novruzov.
