February 15, 2013 – 21:00 AMT

PanARMENIAN.Net – Vice-speaker of parliament Eduard Sharmazanov met
with the Estonian Ambassador to Armenia Priit Turk.

At the meeting, Sharmazanov hailed development of Armenia-Estonia
ties, stressing the importance of mutual visits in their further
intensification.

As Sharmazanov noted, Armenian parliament speaker has scheduled a
visit to Latvia and Estonia this year, which may further boost
parliamentary ties between the countries.

The envoy, is turn, dwelled on a May 1-5 visit of Armenia-Estonia
parliamentary group members to Yerevan, with Estonian parliament’s
foreign relations committee delegation to also travel to Armenia in
spring.

The parties further focused on Armenia-Turley ties and the settlement
of Karabakh conflict. Sharmazanov welcomed Estonia’s balanced position
on the issue and assistance in the settlement of the conflict. As the
envoy noted in this context, there’s no alternative to peaceful
settlement of the conflict.

Emil Lazarian: “I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
