Contract serviceman killed on Armenian-Azerbaijani border

An Armenian contract servicemen was shot to death on Saturday morning
during a military vigil at a border military unit.

According to the Ministry of Defense, the incident occurred in the
south-eastern part of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border. The serviceman,
Mher V. Yeghshatyan (37), is thought to have been killed by the
rival’s bullet.

In a statement, the Ministry has shared the grief of the heavy loss,
extending condolences to Yeghshatyan’s family, friends and fellow
servicemen.
