Some Syrian-Armenians Doctors Already Working In Armenia

SOME SYRIAN-ARMENIANS DOCTORS ALREADY WORKING IN ARMENIA

YEREVAN, JANAURY 31, ARMENPRESS. Some part of the Syrian-Armenian
doctors, who had to leave Syria because of the intense political war,
have already found job in Armenia. In a conversation with “Armenpress”
the Head of the Staff Management Department of the Ministry of
Healthcare of the Republic of Armenia Samvel Soghomonyan stated that
the official number of the doctors, who found job in Armenia, is 22.

Notwithstanding presently there are certain employed specialists,
who have not been registered yet.

Among other things the Head of the Staff Management Department of the
Ministry of Healthcare of the Republic of Armenia Samvel Soghomonyan
noted: “We have Syrian-Armenian doctors not only in Yerevan alone, but
in the regions as well, including Aragatsotn, Shirak, Lori and others.

Among them are pediatricians, cardiologists, therapists, gynecologists
and laboratory nurses.” According to Samvel Soghomonyan the majority
of the doctors have already got used to the new conditions and they
all feel comfortable there. Notwithstanding among them are some
specialists, who are not satisfied with the salary, because their
salary in Syria was much higher. Also Samvel Soghomonyan mentioned:
“Despite the salary, they all are good specialists of the realm
dedicated to their work.”
