Lieutenant Is Charged With Beating A Soldier

LIEUTENANT IS CHARGED WITH BEATING A SOLDIER

Syunik District Court of First Instance is hearing a case charged
against the soldier of N military unit, Lieutenant Nairi Avagyan.

According to the criminal case, the latter beat Hovhannes Markosyan
for not knowing the duties of the guide, besides being in charge of
military base, beat Hovhannes Markosyan and Karapet Avetisyan for
sleeping in the military base, in the result of which Markosyan left
the base.

Nairi Avagyan is charged with Article 374 Section 1 of RA Criminal
Code. The signature for not leaving the country is used as a preventive
measure against him. The next court hearing will be on January 25.
