COMMEMORATION OF THE 1990 ARMENIAN MASSACRES IN BAKU TOOK PLACE

On January 20 the commemoration events dedicated to the massacres to
Baku on 1990 took place in Batumi “Saint Savior” church. Press and
information department of Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs informs
about this. The commemoration was led by Bishop Ararat Gumbalyan.

After the commemoration the people went the cross-stone which is
situated in the yard of the church.

Armenian consular to Batumi Aram Grigoryan delivered speech and spoke
about the massacres in Baku, about their preconditions and underlined
the importance of the unification of Armenian nation.
