FOOTBALL FEDERATION OF TURKMENISTAN SUGGESTED ARMENIAN FEDERATION TO HOLD THE GAME OF NATIONAL TEAMS ON AUGUST 14

YEREVAN, JANUARY 17, ARMENPRESS: Armenia-Turkmenistan friendly football
match which was supposed to take place on March 22 in Yerevan, and was
preplanned from 2012, has been postponed. As Armenpress was informed
from press service of Football Federation of Armenia, national football
team of Turkmenistan would be taking part in the matches of qualifying
phase of Asian Football Confederation 2014 in that period of time.

That matches where scheduled for March 2-10 but where postponed on
March 20-28 on the request of Football Federation of the Philippines,
the organizer of the tournament.

In this regard, Armenian Football Federation has received a letter
from Football Federation of Turkmenistan noting their gratitude for
the invitation to hold the friendly game in Armenia, therefor in
a result of some schedule changes of FIFA the match could not take
place on March 22. Instead, they were pleased to offer to hold the
match on August 14 or any other day suggested.
