POLITICAL EXPERT: TANKS WILL BE ASSEMBLED AT CHARENTSAVAN PLANT?

Tanks may be assembled and repaired at Charentsavan Machine Tool
Plant. Production of spare parts is also possible, said political
expert Sergey Shakaryants in a press conference on Thursday.

“It is not for nothing that President of Russia Vladimir Putin
charged signing an agreement on development of military-technical
cooperation with Armenia. It is not for nothing that the new head of
the Charentsavan Plant is Russian and the plant launched cooperation
with Nyzhniy Tagil Industrial Plant engaged in production of tanks. I
don’t rule out that that tanks will be assembled at Charentsavan
Machine Tool Plant,” the expert said.

Earlier, Russian President agreed with the Government’s suggestion
to negotiate with Armenia for signing an agreement on development
of the military-technical cooperation. The Russian president charged
signing the agreement as soon as the negotiations are completed.
