Milk Production In Armenia Rose 2.6% To 315.2 Mln Liters In Jan-Nov

MILK PRODUCTION IN ARMENIA ROSE 2.6% TO 315.2 MLN LITERS IN JAN-NOV

YEREVAN, January 10. /ARKA/. Milk production in Armenia ( including
rural households without domestic consumption) hit 315.2 million
liters in January-November 2012 against 307.1 million liters in
the same period a year earlier (2.6% up), according to the National
Statistical Service of Armenia.

At the same time, 16574,4 tons of cheese was produced over 11 months,
no change year over year.

The statistics shows 231 tons of kefir (9.4% down from Jan-Nov 2011),
778.4 tons of curd (11.9% down), 2894,7 tons of matsun (9.4% down),
3081,7 tons of sour cream (18.7% up), 348.3 tons of yogurt (32.5%
down), 165.4 tons of mayonnaise (68.6% up) and 3628,6 thousand liters
of ice cream (4.6% up). -0-
