IRAN’S BUSHEHR NUKE POWER PLANT OPERATING AT FULL CAPACITY

January 9, 2013 – 16:43 AMT

PanARMENIAN.Net – In early January, the first generating unit of
the Bushehr nuclear power plant on the Iranian coast of the Persian
Gulf started feeding electricity into the national grid. It is now
operating at full capacity, The Voice of Russia said.

The announcement came from Iran’s nuclear energy agency.

The first contractor on the Bushehr project was Germany’s Siemens.

After four years, however, it pulled out in connection with the events
that followed Iran’s 1979 Islamic Revolution.

In 1995, Russian contractors took over the construction work on the
Bushehr project.

Emil Lazarian: “I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
