THE EXECUTIVE STAFF OF THE BARNABAS FOUNDATION MEETS WITH HIS HOLINESS ARAM

On Saturday 15 December 2012, the Executive staff of the Barnabas
Foundation, accompanied by the former General Secretary of the Middle East
Council of Churches, Dr Riad Jarjour, met with His Holiness Aram I and
Bishop Shahan Sarkissian, the Prelate of Peria Diocese (Syria).

Following a discussion of the problems in the region, Catholicos Aram I
spoke of the challenges to the region’s Christians, and asked the visitors
to assist the Armenian community’s humanitarian, social and educational
efforts.
