INVESTIGATION MUST BE LAUNCHED INTO WIRETAPPING – ARF DASHNAKTSUTYUN MEMBER

YEREVAN.- ARF Dashnaktsutyun MP severely criticized wiretapping of
conversation of his colleagues.

The conversation between Armenian National Congress MP Levon Zurabyan
and Prosperous Armenia MP Vartan Oskanian was posted on Youtube by
an anonymous user.

“You can guess not only conversation of the representatives of two
political forces are wiretapped. The wiretapping conducted without
court’s ruling is an offence,” Vahan Hovhannisyan told reporters
on Wednesday.

He said investigation must be launched into the case to reveal who
was behind the wiretapping.

“We must know whether we leave in North Korea or striving for democracy
Armenia, ” he emphasized.

To note, a recording of a private conversation between Levon Zurabyan
and Vartan Oskanian-during which they were discussing domestic
political matters-was posted on YouTube recently, and this had caused
a huge public reaction. Incidentally, this recording was removed from
YouTube on Tuesday.
