ARMENIAN PRESIDENT CALLED BAKU STANCE OVER NKR CONFLICT SETTLEMENT ISSUE DESTRUCTIVE

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 19, ARMENPRESS: The President of the Republic of
Armenia Serzh Sargsyan announced Azerbaijan undermines efforts of a
peaceful settlement and violates the agreements reached upon.

“Azerbaijani destructive approach is a serious threat for the region”
President Sargsyan came forth in the course of CSTO Collective
Security Council session, Armenpress reports. “Official Baku even
torpedoes reached agreements over the creation of mechanisms regarding
investigation of incidents and withdrawal of snipers” Sargsyan noted.

Armenian President stated Azerbaijan launches active Anti Armenian
propaganda; Baku continues its belligerent policy and arms race in
the region. Armenian President recalled that one of the CSTO basic
principle is the rule of relationswithin the Organization as compared
with non member states and asked CSTO participants not to forget
about that principle and not to support the initiatives that could
damage the interests of Armenia.
