Armenian parties invited foreign colleagues to their conferences

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 14, ARMENPRESS. Advancing the presidential
elections, which will be held on February 18, 2013, the political
powers convoked conferences targeting clarification of the format of
their participation in the presidential elections and a number of
other relevant issues. A number of representatives from various groups
of the society are invited to partake in the conference of the
Republican Party of Armenia, which will be held on December 15. In a
conversation with “Armenpress” member of the council of the Republican
Party of Armenia Hovhannes Sahakyan stated that a number of political
powers will attend the conference. The main subject of the conference
of the Republican Party of Armenia is the candidacy of President Serzh
Sargsyan for the upcoming presidential elections.

The Deputy President of the Republican Party of Armenia Armen Ashotyan
mentioned that they have invited representatives from the European
People’s Party, United Russia Party of Russia, and Communist Party of
China. United Russia Party of Russia and Communist Party of China have
already confirmed their participation in the conference convoked by
the Republican Party of Armenia. The European People’s Party has sent
a message, which will be read during the conference. Also a number of
ambassadors have been invited to the aforesaid conference and the
majority of them have already confirmed their participation.
