ARMENIAN PM, LOS ANGELES MAYOR DISCUSS THE PERSPECTIVES OF COOPERATION

Within the framework of the visit to the US, Armenian Prime Minister
Tigran Sargsyan had a meeting with the Mayor of Los Angeles, Antonio
Villaraigosa. Greeting the guest, the Mayor emphasized the importance
of Armenians~R involvement in the city life.

The interlocutors discussed the perspectives of cooperation and agreed
to create a joint task group to develop cooperation programs.

The official meeting was followed by a reception in honor of PM Tigran
Sargsyan. In attendance were representatives of the Armenian community
of Los Angeles, clergymen, US Ambassador to Armenia John Heffern,
other officials.

The same day Tigran Sargsyan had a meeting with representatives of the
Armenian Revolutionary Federation and its sister organizations. The
Prime Minister briefed the attendees on the activities of the Armenian
Government, the ongoing reforms and future programs.

Tigran Sargsyan later responded to a number of questions related to
the spheres of healthcare, corruption, the negotiations on Artsakh
settlement, Syrian Armenians.
