Nikolay Ryzhkov visits Armenia’s Gyumri

A delegation led by Co-Chairman of the Armenian-Russian Parliamentary
Cooperation Commission Nikolay Ryzhkov, accompanied by Vice-Speaker of
Armenia’s Parliament Eduard Sharmazanov, visited Armenia’s second
largest city, Gyumri.

Shirak Governor Ashot Giziryan and Gyumri Mayor Samvel Balasanyan and
Chairman of the Shirak football club Arman Sahakyan met Mr Ryzhkov at
the entrance to the city.

Mr Ryzhkov visited the Gyumri industrial park, got acquainted with its
work and programs.

During a visit to the completely renovated Gyumri stadium, Mr Arman
Sahakyan informed Mr Ryzhkov of the previously implemented and planned
programs.

The Russian delegation also visited the Hill of Honor, Surb
Amenaprkich church and Mush-2 neighborhood.

Nikolay Ryzhkov visited Armenia to participate in the 21st meeting of
the Armenian-Russian Parliamentary Cooperation Commission.
On Thursday, Armenia’s President Serzh Sargsyan held a meeting with him.
