Armenian authorities’ policy to Javakhk causes uncertainty

The Armenian authorities’ policy toward Javakhk (Georgia’s region with
a dense Armenian population) does not meet the strategic interests of
either Armenia or Javakhk.

Armenia’s inactivity provokes uncertainty among Javakhk residents, the
expert Ghevond Lazarian told journalists on Friday.

`We need a clear strategy not only to resolve Javakhk residents’
problem, but also strengthen Javakhk as a means of influencing
Georgia,’ the expert said.

He stressed the importance of making necessary steps as soon as possible.
