PanARMENIAN.Net – Armenia’s Taron Soghomonyan commented on his 18:12
win over Azerbaijan’s Nasradin Mammadov at 2012 AIBA Youth World
Boxing Championships.

“I’m happy for my victory. There are no weak contenders at world
championships. Mammadov made no exception. My calmness and confidence
before and during the bout helped me secure the win,” the 17-year-old
said, voicing hope to score further victories.

2012 AIBA Youth World Boxing Championships kicked off November 29 in
Yerevan to run through December 8.
